The only Classic Era gold we can find for Europe is priced many times higher than players trade it for among themselves. Printing those prices would push you towards a bad deal, so the realms are listed without them. We will switch prices back on once a fair offer turns up.
What Classic Era gold buys you
Classic Era is the 2019 relaunch left much as it was, and gold still does the job it did then. The first mount is the first big target, the faster mount comes later, and in between go bag slots, consumables, first aid and the repair costs of a character who dies a lot.
Nothing in Era makes gold easier to come by as time passes. Every coin on these realms was farmed by a player at some point, which is why one coin matters and why the community still treats gold the way it did at launch.
Why people buy rather than farm
Era gold is usually bought for one of two reasons: someone has returned to a character that never reached its fast mount, or someone plays a few hours a week and won't spend them mining copper.
It is also the version where buying is most visible. The realms are small, you see the same names in every group, and a character who is suddenly rich gets noticed. That argues for modest amounts delivered in ordinary ways.

Buying, step by step
- Open your version. Each version of the game has one page, and every realm a seller covers is a row in the table on it.
- Find your realm and pick a side. Type the name into the search box or scroll to it. Horde and Alliance each get their own button, because the seller delivers to a single character on one side.
- Pay the seller. The button opens the seller's offer for that realm and faction. You pay them in euros and name the character to deliver to; support and refunds are theirs to handle as well.

Getting the gold into your bags
The gold itself moves inside World of Warcraft, not through this website. There are four ways a seller can hand it over, and the one you get depends on who you buy from and how much.
Mailbox
What most orders use. You tell the seller your character and realm, they post the gold, and it sits in your in-game mailbox until you collect it, even if you were logged off when it arrived.
Trade window
Their character meets yours, usually in a capital, and the gold goes across in a direct trade. Common on bigger orders and quick when you're both online; stand somewhere you won't be interrupted.
Auction house
You buy an item they have listed at the agreed price, and the gold changes hands through the sale. It is slower, and the auction house keeps a cut, so sellers use it only when the other routes don't suit.
Guild bank
Only works between members of the same guild, so it is uncommon. A few sellers offer it for very large amounts.
The delivery time shown with each offer is the seller's promise, running from the moment your payment is accepted on their site. We print it as they give it, without rounding or averaging.
Why the price is what it is
This page shows no prices for Classic Era. That is a choice we made on purpose, not missing data.
The only European Era offers we can find cost many times what players charge each other for the same gold. On realms this size a price like that isn't a market rate, it is a listing nobody takes. Showing it would make the page look finished and nudge someone into overpaying.
The realms are still listed, because they are real. Prices for Classic Era are switched off on purpose, and they will be switched back on once the offers look like the player market again.
What you can hold us to
No invented numbers
Each price, stock level and delivery time is copied from the seller's live listing when the site is rebuilt. A realm nobody is selling on shows no price at all, rather than a guess.
Euros, and why
The sellers charge in euros, so that is what we print. Showing pounds would mean a converted figure that no longer matches the total at checkout.
Stars only where they're earned
A star rating appears next to a seller only when it comes from real orders. If we can't check where a rating came from, we leave it out.
Your login stays with you
No order here needs your password, authenticator code or account access. A seller who asks for any of those isn't delivering gold, so close the page and let us know.
Common questions
Why doesn't this page show any prices?
Because the only European Era offers we can find cost many times what players pay each other for the same gold.
Listing them would make the page look complete and steer someone into overpaying. We will switch prices back on once the offers come close to what players actually pay.
So where can I compare Classic Era gold prices?
The panel at the bottom of this page shows what other marketplaces ask; check the cost per 1,000 gold before you decide.
We aren't involved in those sales and don't check them. The figures are simply the ones those sites publish.
Is buying Era gold safe?
It is never risk-free, and Blizzard's terms forbid it.
On realms this small there is a social angle too: sudden wealth gets noticed. Normal amounts delivered in normal ways draw less attention.
Why is each Era coin so expensive?
Because nothing inflates the economy and nothing helps you catch up. Every coin was farmed by hand, and there are few players doing the farming.
What is gold for in Classic Era?
Your first mount, then bags, consumables, first aid and repairs.
There's no Token and no shortcut, which is exactly why the first mount feels earned.
Do I need to choose a faction?
Yes. Horde and Alliance can't trade or mail gold to each other, so each side is its own purchase.
Are Era realms the same as Anniversary realms?
No. Classic Era keeps the 2019 relaunch as it was. The Anniversary realms started over and have since moved on to The Burning Crusade.
The realm names are different, and so are the economies.
What information would a seller need?
A character name, the realm and the faction, and nothing else. No account details of any kind.
